設備主要用于金屬材料、航空器材及船舶配件等實驗室加速模擬海洋氣候條件測試，設備內箱由具有耐腐蝕性的純鈦板制作，外箱采用不銹鋼板烤漆制作；保溫層采用玻璃纖維棉+聚氨酯硬質發泡膠制作，具有極佳耐腐蝕性能和保溫性能。設備具有高溫、低溫、濕熱、干燥、鹽水噴霧等多個功能，可實現自動循環控制或單一功能控制，操作簡單，數據化管理。控制系統采用西門子PLC+西門子溫度模塊+人機界面制作而成，自主開發控制系統，可實現手機APP遠程操作控制、USB接口可連接U盤記錄試驗室數據，可連接以太網實現多臺設備同步控制。
